Hey, hey! It's summer time, and the livin' is easy. Shouldn't the way we dress be easy, too? It's too hot to be stressed out over an outfit! Here's a quick look that will surely work for summer: shorts and a super cute top! I know I'm sporting heels here, but this can totally be worn with a cute pair of flats or sandals. Keep reading for the details!
We've already discussed how the off the shoulder trend isn't going anywhere, so it's best we just embrace it. I lowkey go into overload, buying any and every cute "ots" item I see. I snagged this top from my favorite store. If you're thinking Zara, then you're right! The color caught my eye, but the style and fit is what covinced me to buy it! I've already worn it like three times, and I plan on wearing it a bunch more. That's what a washing machine is for, right? *smiles*
Now this top is a tad cropped, and I'm not a fan of wearing my stomach out. Well, not my whole stomach anyway. So, I usually choose high-waist bottoms when I wear short or crop tops. Here, I paired this top with a pair of shorts. The light wash went well with the mint color of this top! Perfect summer feel, so freaking cute! Plus, it's hot af soooo why not show a lil' leg?
Summer accessories!!! Again, it's really hot... guys remeber that I live in Florida, and it's at least 80 degrees most days. I don't want to wear or carry a lot of stuff. Here I put on my favorite earrings. They're handmade pieces by "Madre Gabs." I literally stalked her via IG for about two months to get a pair. I think they're so cute and crafty. You guys know I love earrings! These are definitely a summer staple for me. They go with like everything and look great in my hair! I added my everyday necklacke/choker and rings for an additional touch of gold.
This bag... I loveeeeee it! The structure, material, color and most of all, THE HANDLE! The starw + bamboo combo is just amazing! I'd like to take a moment and thank my grandma for passing this little charm on down to me. Definitely going to keep it forever. It's large enough to fit all my essentials, but small and light enough to carry around in this draining summer heat.
In addition to style, skin and hair are super important for the summer. I've been working on my inner and outer glow and hydrating my curls. Look at the definition!!
